Throughout the Month of October, Accurate Box Company employees wore pink to raise awareness of breast cancer and made donations to help find a cure.
November 1, 2016 – Paterson, NJ – Accurate Box Company, a women-owned company and manufacturer of litho-laminated corrugated packaging, ran a fundraiser pledging that for every pink article of clothing worn by employees in October, Accurate Box would donate $1 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Pink was worn for four Wednesdays in October plus during a bonus safety day held at Accurate Box facilities. Donations to Susan G. Komen for the cure were collected throughout the month from anyone who wished to contribute and informational packets were distributed. Employees increased their donations by over 25% percent from the amount collected in 2015.
President Lisa Hirsh offered many thanks to employees for the success of the fundraiser stating, “I want to thank each and every one of you for your support this past month in both wearing pink on Wednesdays and contributing to our fundraising effort.”
Accurate Box Company will continue to be a strong supporter of this wonderful cause. For more information about Accurate Box’s corporate giving, please visit our social responsibility page.
