Accounts Payable/Billing Analyst

Job Summary: Overall responsibilities include the timely and accurate processing of Vendor bills and the generation of customer invoices daily.  Also, provide assistance to the Director of Accounting during the monthly accounting closing process on the preparation of accrual spreadsheets and provide research when warranted.  Update billing information onto the Key Stats worksheet, reconcile vendor statements, and respond to emails regarding Accounts Payable and Billing issues.

Essential Job Functions

Accounts Payable:

  • Process Vendor bills from: general purchases, board purchases, freight, misc.
  • Open and sort mail as required
  • Match vendor bills with purchase orders and receiver documents, if applicable
  • Obtain Supervisor approvals, when applicable
  • Provide Account code for vendor bill
  • Enter vendor invoice information into ERP system
  • Schedule payment based on agreed upon terms
  • Generate system AP check
  • Mail checks

Billing:

  • Enter billing information into ERP system daily
  • Verify prices to price sheets, if applicable
  • Generate Accurate’s invoices for distribution daily
  • Post Accurate’s Invoices daily within ERP system
  • Print Accurate’s invoices daily
  • Hand off Accurate’s Invoices to AR Clerk for distribution and filing

Provide assistance to the Director of Accounting during the Accounting closing process:

  • Prepare “BLUE BOOK” Vendor Invoices for purposes of accruals
  • Prepare “RED BOOK” Purchase Orders for purposes of accruals
  • Review the previous period’s accruals to ascertain whether paid and communicate results back to the Director of Accounting
  • Prepare monthly accrual spreadsheet for both the “BLUE BOOK” & “RED BOOK”
Additional Responsibilities
  • Update billing on the Key Stats worksheet, daily
  • Reconcile Vendors statements
  • Answer e-mails or make phone calls to companies with account questions and problems
  • Fill in at the reception desk as needed answering calls and greeting visitors
  • Additional accounting duties as needed by the Director of Accounting
Job Qualifications
  • Prior Accounts Payable and Billing experience required (5+ years preferred)
  • Prior experience with Accounts Payable and Billing modules within ERP systems
  • Strong mathematical skills with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills /Ability to work with others at all levels within the organization

Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Job Summary: The 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor directs, organizes, and executes all 2nd shift Maintenance Department activities. They are accountable for the reliable protection of the Process Equipment, building, as well as the facility’s support machinery and ancillaries. They must ensure the day-to-day performance of machines and tools critical to Manufacturing and team performance. The supervisor must perform in a LEAN environment with a proactive maintenance strategy and aim to support availability of production equipment the most efficient way possible. Continuing with implementation of advanced tools for: parts inventory, machinery uptime, preventive maintenance programs, labor, and maintenance costs control. Knowledgeable in CMMS software and industrial safety standards.

Essential Job Functions
  • Ensure compliance with all safety rules procedures for the staff and workplace ensuring all appropriate safety measures are taken.
  • Develop Maintenance staff skillset to fit company growth.
  • Support the implementation of a maintenance program and spare parts inventory (CMMS) on critical equipment as: Bobst Asitrade Laminators, Bobst Die Cutters and Gluers, Koenig and Bauer Printing-Press, stretch wrappers and sealers.
  • Maintain and update database in (CMMS) that will support any modification to our current preventive maintenance program while capturing all necessary documentation provided by machine vendors.
  • Manage all outside contractors and other services (To be defined) within the scope of the role as assigned by senior management team.
  • Work with other shifts during the installation of all new machinery and equipment within the timetables established.
  • Provide reports to support the approval of all work that is carried out by third parties while ensuring workmanship is in line with Company, state, and local regulations standards.
  • Work with safety manager to obtain the required state or local permits/certification, according to maintenance department use. Maintain current validity of all permits/certification.
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned by Maintenance Manager
  • Electro-mechanical understanding and ability to troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, Servo-motors, sensors, etc.
  • Support all phases of outside services (Vendor, Cost, Schedule, Permits and other needed items)

Schedule: Monday through Friday 3pm – 12am, plus possible weekend hours.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical, or Electrical engineering preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office suites (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc); ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and solve problems with support and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with CMMS systems.
  • Experience with CAD, Gantt Charts, and Project Management.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Printing Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Job Summary: We are a Litho-Laminated box manufacturer in Paterson, NJ. We are seeking a Printing Department Supervsior for our 2nd shift (3:00PM- 12:00AM, Monday-Friday). This position is responsible for the overall production process of the department and the supervison of the Printing and Sheeting Dept. personnel.

Essential Job Functions
  • Supervise and manage press production, personnel, quality processes, and equipment for pressroom on second shift; anticipate problems before they occur to minimize downtime.
  • Search for options to decrease costs, maximize efficiency, and reduce set-up times
  • Coordinate work flow, and monitor and maximize pressroom quality
  • Maintain department production and waste-control targets
  • Manage and control inventory of departmental supplies
  • Work with customers on press ok’s;
  • Assist press crews with print production problems
  • Report equipment problems to maintenance department for repairs
  • Maintain and confirm all requirements for company’s FSSC 22000 certification
  • Observe and report safety issues within the department and plant
  • Assist dept. manager with vacation scheduling, sick/personal time coverage, hiring and firing
  • Maintain and train personnel for department and company procedures.
  • Coordinate print specifications with Graphics Dept. Manager to meet and maintain G7 standards
  • Manage Sheeting Dept. by working with inventory coordinator and scheduler to meet Printing Dept. production goals
  • Responsible for Sheeting Dept. production and personnel
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years KBA/Heidelberg press experience. Preferrably Large Format Press 7-Color
  • Minumum 3 years work exprerience in a supervisor role
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience and knowledge of spectrophotometry and lab color measurement
  • Knowledge of FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Bilingual English-Spanish preferred

Printing Feeder Operator

Job Summary: We are a busy Litho-laminated box manufacturer located in Paterson NJ. We are seeking an experienced Printing Feeder Operator for our KBA 164 and 162 7color LED and conventional printing presses. Must be available to work 3rd shift and have availability to work OT as needed. Unionized shop.

Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for feeder setup and maintaining continuous sheet feeding during production runs
  • Inspect and replenish ink and liquid levels for press operation (when necessary)
  • Review job specifications on order bags to ensure accurate production specifications
  • Maintain a clean/safe work area and adhere to the company safety policy
  • Inform management in a timely manner of mechanical and electrical problems
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice.
  • Assist 1st and 2nd pressmen in overall press operation
Job Qualifications
  • 2 years minimum experience in feeder operations of large format multi-color presses
  • Mechanical and problem-solving skills

Schedule: 3rd Shift, 10:45PM – 7:00AM

Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the Sales Reps and working on assignments with scheduling and estimating.

Essential Job Functions
  • Maintaining a friendly customer relationship with High Profile Accounts as support person to CR Reps and liaison in the supply of packaging to accommodate production in multiple locations throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.
  • Write customer orders received in various manners, ensuring that all required production and billing specs are included and accurate.
  • Assist Sales Reps/CR Reps in processing of orders and plan completion based on customer-provided forecasts.
  • Coordinate sample needs with design team for new project development and quotation. Forward drawings and CAD samples to customer for necessary approvals.
  • Process customer delivery requirements against WIP advising production planner, shipping and customer of changes as they occur.
  • Coordinate inventory replacement for customers utilizing outsourced consignment warehouse facilities for JIT deliveries avoiding inventory outages and downtime.
  • Assist in reconciliation of information and input of data in various systems.
  • Assist in development of job orders
  • Participate in special projects as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Meet with Sales Reps, Customer Service Reps, VP Sales and President to review account prices, upcoming changes and expectations.
  • Travel as needed
Job Qualifications
  • College Degree, any major
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, Strong in Excel is a must

Electro Mechanical Technician

5 day work week 9 hours a Day (Tuesday to Saturday)

Job Summary: Record, troubleshoot, and repair daily problems associated with the electro-mechanics of various types of machinery.

Essential Job Functions
  • Troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems: Laminators, die-cutters, gluers, conveyors, strappers, etc. Waste System is a plus.
  • Troubleshooting of PLCs, motor drives, relays, contactors and more electrical and control components.
  • Perform electro-mechanical repairs such as: motor, pumps, conveyors, motion systems, pneumatics and hydraulics systems).
  • Record maintenance repairs and PM’s work orders on CMMS. Knowledge on Maximo IBM, SAP or MaintainX is highly preferable.
  • Programming PLCs (Studio5000, Siemens TIA).
  • Working with and without electrical schematics: ability to identify missing feedback signals on systems without schematics using instruments.
  • Follow LOTO rules and additional safety key points.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Keeping the engineer informed about daily repairs and machinery problems.
  • Work on miscellaneous assignments as required.
  • Follow company rules and values.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Job Qualifications
  • Proficient in working with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs
  • Understanding of circuits.
  • Proficient in electrical and electronic circuits, sensors and encoders.
  • Strong technical skills
  • Understanding Offset printing press is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Ability to multitask and work under manufacturing plant rhythm.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and willingness to work overtime as required.

Laminator Operator

We are a Litho-Laminated Corrugated Box Manufacturer located in Paterson, NJ. We are seeking an experienced Laminator Operator to join our team on 3rd shift. This is a great opportunity in a growing, fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service. It is a unionized shop.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead Crew/team to safely produce high-quality laminated sheets that meet or exceed production standards.
  • Closely follow ALL company Safety Procedures including LOTO, OSHA and Food Safety requirements.
  • Lead crew/team in clean up and performing Scheduled Maintenance.
  • Ready the Laminator for jobs; perform make-readies. Lead crew/team to effectively get machine ready for operation.
  • Monitor Laminator constantly during production to ensure smooth operation, free of web breaks, jams, defects, and quality concerns.
  • Monitor web temperature and adjust heat, pressure, water levels as needed.
  • Primary Trainer on all aspects of laminator functions – Subject Matter Expert
  • Ensure production and quality goals are constantly met or exceeded.
  • Read, interpret and accurately follow job bag instructions for each job.
  • Conduct regular QC checks in accordance with Quality Control procedure (moisture/caliper).
  • Ensure accurate production records are maintained both digitally and manually.
  • Follow QC procedures with a Customer Focus perspective
  • Follow Company Policies under Union Contract.
  • Adaptable to learning various machines/equipment and techniques, and work as an effective team leader with various teams/crews.
  • Lead crew as needed to ensure continuous safe operation, and production standards are met.
Requirements
  • Senior Level – mechanical attitude, attention to detail, strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead a team/crew
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; regular overtime is required.
  • Subject Matter Expert on all areas of laminator
  • Ability to use, read and interpret thermal temperature gauge.
  • Good communication and troubleshooting skills are a must.
  • Basic computer skills; entering data, scanning load tickets, maintaining accurate production records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Basic math skills, adding/subtracting and applying imperial measurements.
  • Must be able to work 3rd shift
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus

Forklift Operator

Accurate Box is looking for full time Forklift Operators to work various shifts (1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm / 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am). Hours are Monday to Friday and overtime is required if necessary. Forklift operators are full-time positions with benefits after 90 days.

Requirements
  • Must be able to move products on pallets within the company and safely stack them
  • Must be able to unload and load trucks for transportation
  • Must be aware of OSHA safety requirements while operating
  • 5 years’ experience driving a forklift
  • Must have an active Forklift Operator Certificate and Forklift Operator License
  • Be able to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
  • Overtime is required: 10hr workdays are common but 12hrs is a possibility
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have reliable transportation

General Helper

General Helpers at Accurate Box hold various important positions in several different departments. Workers are placed on the assembly lines for various shifts on several different machines. Hours are Monday – Friday with 3 different shift options (1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm / 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am). Overtime is required when necessary. General Helpers are full-time positions with benefits after 90 days.

Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., be on your feet all day, and work in a fast pace environment
  • Constant attention to the product on the machine
  • Follow directions on processes with a machine in the correct order
  • Must be safety oriented and always aware of your surroundings
  • Be able to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
  • Overtime is required: 10hr workdays are common but 12hrs is a possibility
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have reliable transportation
