Printing Supervisor (2nd Shift)
Job Summary: We are a Litho-Laminated box manufacturer in Paterson, NJ. We are seeking a Printing Department Supervsior for our 2nd shift (3:00PM- 12:00AM, Monday-Friday). This position is responsible for the overall production process of the department and the supervison of the Printing and Sheeting Dept. personnel.
Essential Job Functions
- Supervise and manage press production, personnel, quality processes, and equipment for pressroom on second shift; anticipate problems before they occur to minimize downtime.
- Search for options to decrease costs, maximize efficiency, and reduce set-up times
- Coordinate work flow, and monitor and maximize pressroom quality
- Maintain department production and waste-control targets
- Manage and control inventory of departmental supplies
- Work with customers on press ok’s;
- Assist press crews with print production problems
- Report equipment problems to maintenance department for repairs
- Maintain and confirm all requirements for company’s FSSC 22000 certification
- Observe and report safety issues within the department and plant
- Assist dept. manager with vacation scheduling, sick/personal time coverage, hiring and firing
- Maintain and train personnel for department and company procedures.
- Coordinate print specifications with Graphics Dept. Manager to meet and maintain G7 standards
- Manage Sheeting Dept. by working with inventory coordinator and scheduler to meet Printing Dept. production goals
- Responsible for Sheeting Dept. production and personnel
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years KBA/Heidelberg press experience. Preferrably Large Format Press 7-Color
- Minumum 3 years work exprerience in a supervisor role
- Minimum 3 years of work experience and knowledge of spectrophotometry and lab color measurement
- Knowledge of FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Bilingual English-Spanish preferred

Maintenance Mechanic
Accurate Box Company is a Litho-Laminated Corrugated Box Manufacturer located in Paterson, NJ. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to perform repairs on manufacturing and utility equipment. The position is for 2nd shift or 3rd Shift. Overtime required in a unionized shop.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment, blending their electrical and mechanical knowledge. This role involves working with robotics, automated systems, and other advanced electromechanical assemblies.
- Committed to SAFETY. Follows established guidelines for safe work practices. Promote safety awareness while working with peers, adhere to accepted practices and procedures. Keen to ensure that his maintained machines meet industry standards, and the repaired equipment warrants the plant operator’s safety.
- Setup and run machinery-equipment according to procedures and specifications. Mount and test parts while supporting production processes, make sure machines function as designed.
- Inspect and Troubleshoot equipment and resolve issues in real-time to minimize disruption.
- Diagnoses issues using predictive tools and repair-replace defective components. Install, new parts Maintains and Repairs plant mechanisms.
- Provide technical support to other team members and end-users. performs routine maintenance on electromechanical systems to eliminate downtime.
Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
- Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experienced with diagnostic tooling and Maintenance software including CMMs.
- Experienced with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, automated materials handling.
- Knowledge of VFD’s and PLC Control logics troubleshooting. (Allen Bradley and Siemens).
Other Skills

Additional information: All Maintenance Mechanics are required to participate in emergency call-in requests as the needs arise. Maintenance personnel are expected to work OT, weekend OT, and Holiday OT as needed

Electro Mechanical Technician
5 day work week 9 hours a Day (Tuesday to Saturday)
Job Summary: Record, troubleshoot, and repair daily problems associated with the electro-mechanics of various types of machinery.
Essential Job Functions
- Troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems: Laminators, die-cutters, gluers, conveyors, strappers, etc. Waste System is a plus.
- Troubleshooting of PLCs, motor drives, relays, contactors and more electrical and control components.
- Perform electro-mechanical repairs such as: motor, pumps, conveyors, motion systems, pneumatics and hydraulics systems).
- Record maintenance repairs and PM’s work orders on CMMS. Knowledge on Maximo IBM, SAP or MaintainX is highly preferable.
- Programming PLCs (Studio5000, Siemens TIA).
- Working with and without electrical schematics: ability to identify missing feedback signals on systems without schematics using instruments.
- Follow LOTO rules and additional safety key points.
Additional Responsibilities
- Keeping the engineer informed about daily repairs and machinery problems.
- Work on miscellaneous assignments as required.
- Follow company rules and values.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Job Qualifications
- Proficient in working with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs
- Understanding of circuits.
- Proficient in electrical and electronic circuits, sensors and encoders.
- Strong technical skills
- Understanding Offset printing press is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 5+ years of work experience
- Ability to multitask and work under manufacturing plant rhythm.
- Ability to work flexible hours and willingness to work overtime as required.

Laminator Operator
We are a Litho-Laminated Corrugated Box Manufacturer located in Paterson, NJ. We are seeking an experienced Laminator Operator to join our team on 3rd shift. This is a great opportunity in a growing, fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service. It is a unionized shop.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Crew/team to safely produce high-quality laminated sheets that meet or exceed production standards.
- Closely follow ALL company Safety Procedures including LOTO, OSHA and Food Safety requirements.
- Lead crew/team in clean up and performing Scheduled Maintenance.
- Ready the Laminator for jobs; perform make-readies. Lead crew/team to effectively get machine ready for operation.
- Monitor Laminator constantly during production to ensure smooth operation, free of web breaks, jams, defects, and quality concerns.
- Monitor web temperature and adjust heat, pressure, water levels as needed.
- Primary Trainer on all aspects of laminator functions – Subject Matter Expert
- Ensure production and quality goals are constantly met or exceeded.
- Read, interpret and accurately follow job bag instructions for each job.
- Conduct regular QC checks in accordance with Quality Control procedure (moisture/caliper).
- Ensure accurate production records are maintained both digitally and manually.
- Follow QC procedures with a Customer Focus perspective
- Follow Company Policies under Union Contract.
- Adaptable to learning various machines/equipment and techniques, and work as an effective team leader with various teams/crews.
- Lead crew as needed to ensure continuous safe operation, and production standards are met.
Requirements
- Senior Level – mechanical attitude, attention to detail, strong leadership skills.
- Ability to lead a team/crew
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; regular overtime is required.
- Subject Matter Expert on all areas of laminator
- Ability to use, read and interpret thermal temperature gauge.
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills are a must.
- Basic computer skills; entering data, scanning load tickets, maintaining accurate production records in accordance with company procedures.
- Basic math skills, adding/subtracting and applying imperial measurements.
- Must be able to work 3rd shift
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus

Forklift Mechanic
We are a Litho-Laminated Corrugated Box Manufacturer located in Paterson, NJ. We are seeking an experienced Forklift/Auto Mechanic to join our team. This is a great opportunity in a growing, fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service. It is a unionized shop. The position will be on 1st shift, with the ability to work on any shift, if needed.
Job Summary
- The individual will provide ongoing maintenance of equipment as well as work on troubleshooting technical problems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing IC and Electric Forklift vehicles and plant lifting and rotating equipment including their battery chargers.
- Complete scheduled overhaul and repair assignments within the time frame allotted, reporting in the CMMS tool all assigned maintenance tasks. Schedule and support all works on forklifts inside and outside the shop, helping in coordinating repairs at contractor’s garage.
- Request parts for forklift and plant lifting equipment, and other supplies such as replacement parts, hardware, lights, horns, safety belts, grease, lubricants, tools, testing instruments, and gauges.
- Apply knowledge of equipment operating principles to diagnose and correct malfunctions in forklift equipment
- Must have knowledge of the principles of electronic, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic/vacuum systems and components found in industrial equipment
- Skill in the use of tools, machines, and testing instruments used in the repair and overhaul of plant lifting equipment.
- Ability to use knowledge, creativity, and initiative in recommending or implementing improvements in servicing methods, tools, and equipment
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards, safety precautions, and inspection techniques of repairing and operating lifting equipment in the industry.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ensure safe work practices according to trade best practices and company policy.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing area or Auto Mechanic
- Must have a broad knowledge of maintenance of machinery.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of equipment
- Ability to use hand tools, trade-type tools, manuals, and schematics when servicing equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in tight confined spaces and or while on a ladder
- Flexibility in changing priorities and working independently
- Basic Electrical skills/experience, and automation control
- Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record
Preferred
- Journeyman mechanic
- Graduate from Vocational Institute with specialization in mechanical operations
- Experience with forklift maintenance, corrugator/laminator die cutters, printing press, folder gluers, and other plant equipment a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment and effectively interact with all personnel in the plant.

Forklift Operator
Accurate Box is looking for full time Forklift Operators to work various shifts (1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm / 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am). Hours are Monday to Friday and overtime is required if necessary. Forklift operators are full-time positions with benefits after 90 days.
Requirements
- Must be able to move products on pallets within the company and safely stack them
- Must be able to unload and load trucks for transportation
- Must be aware of OSHA safety requirements while operating
- 5 years’ experience driving a forklift
- Must have an active Forklift Operator Certificate and Forklift Operator License
- Be able to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
- Overtime is required: 10hr workdays are common but 12hrs is a possibility
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation

General Helpers at Accurate Box hold various important positions in several different departments. Workers are placed on the assembly lines for various shifts on several different machines. Hours are Monday – Friday with 3 different shift options (1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm / 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am). Overtime is required when necessary. General Helpers are full-time positions with benefits after 90 days.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., be on your feet all day, and work in a fast pace environment
- Constant attention to the product on the machine
- Follow directions on processes with a machine in the correct order
- Must be safety oriented and always aware of your surroundings
- Be able to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
- Overtime is required: 10hr workdays are common but 12hrs is a possibility
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation
